PRODUCT OFFERING

Our core business is production of creosote treated gum poles predominately for the export market. Creosote is impregnated into the wood at high pressure to ensure good production. This process preserves the wood for at least 30 years. Our product mix is heavily skewed (70%) towards the electricity transmission poles for both the local and export market, while 30% will be for telephone poles, fencing and building poles.Woodlot Timbers also manufactures other timber products like wooden cabins, dog kennels, guard rooms, garden canopies and garden pavilions among many wood products that you can imagine.

TREATED AND UNTREATED POLES

We Specialize in the production of transmission, telephone and fencing poles. Woodlot Timbers aims to be  the largest producer of utility poles in the Southern Africa. With our treating plants in Rusape in the the centrally located nation of Zimbabwe, we are able to serve the export market with comparative ease. Transmission, telecommunications and customer specified poles are produced mainly from eucalyptus trees and are treated to Standard Association of Zimbabwe, S.A.Z, or any other recognized national standards. Our poles are treated with two preservatives including Creosote and Copper Chrome Arsenate (CCA).
